#HotCraftSpirits Twitter campaign partners with 31Dover.com

Specialist online drinks retailer 31Dover.com has partnered with Twitter campaign #HotCraftSpirits, which is seeking to identify the most popular craft spirit brands in the UK.

Created by social media agency Clarity Comms, #HotCraftSpirits is an opportunity for consumers to vote on their favourite craft spirit by tweeting the brand’s Twitter handle alongside the campaign’s hashtag.

Some 1,200 votes have already been cast for 204 brands, reflecting the breadth and depth of the craft spirit movement in the UK.

Voting will continue until May 20, when the brand with the most votes will be crowned the UK’s Hottest Craft Spirit.

31Dover.com will create a dedicated landing page for #HotCraftSpirits where consumers can easily purchase the top 10 brands, and will also be supporting the campaign through its weekly email and across its social media channels.

#HotCraftSpirits will be adding Buy Now links to the retailer on its leaderboard as well as cross-promoting it through Twitter, Facebook and elsewhere.

At the end of the competition, 31Dover.com will look to list any brand in the top 10 that they don’t currently stock.

David Elghanayan, chief executive of 31Dover.com, said:  “31Dover.com is delighted to partner with #HotCraftSpirits by offering a platform for small craft distilleries.

“It’s great to be able to showcase and promote the incredible spirits that are available today and to make them instantly accessible for customers to engage with and purchase.”

Lucy Kemp, co-founder of Clarity Comms, said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for the brands involved. The sponsorship moves the campaign beyond pure conversations around the drinks to encouraging consumers to try and buy from 31Dover.com’s great range of gins, vodkas and rums.”

The current top ten as listed on the campaign’s website are:

1. Mason’s Yorkshire Gin

2. Jaw Box Gin

3. Warner Edwards

4. Shortcross Gin

5. Chilgrove

6. Gordon Castle Gin

7. Fifty Eight Gin

8. Curio

9. Rock Rose Gin

10. Ely Gin
